A new survey from CBS News shows that most Americans would be reluctant to head out to former activities even if stay-at-home orders were lifted now.

Only 13%, for instance, would be comfortable going to a large sports or entertainment event if a stay-at-home order were lifted now. Similarly, only 15% of Americans would be comfortable getting on an airplane.  29% say they are ready to go to restaurants or bars.

Fewer than half— 44%—say they would be comfortable going to a workplace outside the home. Meanwhile, 54% say they would be comfortable visiting friends if a stay-at-home order were lifted now.

Only one survey, I know. Only a few data points. But important for investors trying to figure out the course of the economy after the coronavirus danger has receded.
